Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator (70-646 exam)

Following skills will be tested in this exam –

  • Server management planning
  • Servers maintenance and monitoring
  • Server Deployment planning
  • Planning for Application & Data Provisioning
  • High Availability and Business Continuity Planning

In case, you are certified with the MCSA Windows Server 2008 or MCITP Enterprise or Server Administrator, you are required to upgrade your certification to the latest Windows Server 2012 certification. In order to achieve the highest level of certification in this category, you are required to an exam in two steps.

You can take the exam of 70-417 after you are certified with any of the following Microsoft certifications in this step –

  • MCITP: SharePoint Administrator
  • MCITP: Virtualization Administrator
